Central Nottinghamshire PFI

Overview

The Central Nottinghamshire PFI consists of two hospitals, Kingsmill and Mansfield. Both hospitals are a significant redevelopment of existing and complex hospital sites. Our involvement included the masterplanning and detailed design of the landscape and external works for both developments. The Kingsmill site design has been organised around an entrance plaza that extends into the car park. Focusing on a reservoir adjacent to the site with clear routes and simple way-finding make this hospital easy to access.

Mansfield Hospital is a local community facility, centred on a number of intimate courtyards and gardens where the landscape provides rehabilitation for patients and relaxation space for staff.
