Royal Hospital for Sick Children - Edinburgh

The Royal Hospital for Sick Children was to be relocated from the city centre to the Royal Infirmary site to the south of Edinburgh. Overlooked by the medieval Craigmiller Castle we reviewed the new development and the impact it may have had on the historic view from Castle Hill. Our findings showed that the new childrens’ hospital would have a minimal impact on the both the castle and the surrounding countryside.
