Over several years the site undergone a phased redevelopment as a healthcare campus and accommodates the Birmingham Dental Hospital, Circle Rehabilitation and a Bupa Care Home. Our team have been instrumental in masterplanning all aspects of the landscape infrastructure including pedestrian and vehicular access routes, amenity greenspaces and ecological corridors.
The design incorporates a tranquillity garden and an elevated brookside boardwalk with footbridges to the adjacent Vita student accommodation. The planting palette was developed to integrate the existing established woodland corridors that line the banks of the Bourn and Chad Brooks, as well as creating a restorative outlook for patients at the campus’ various healthcare premises.
