Fira supported Symbiosia Community Interest Company in progressing their vision to create a new model for residential social care. Symbiosia’s pioneering approach works towards a carbon negative way of living, providing a place which connects residents, relatives, staff, and the wider community.
A healing and joyful landscape was integral to this vision and would play a major role in creating a caring environment where nature is accessible both on the doorstep or just outside the window, and is woven into the building itself. A range of ideas for external and internal landscaped spaces were explored, with the end goal of creating caring environments that all will cherish and enjoy.
