With over 30 years of landscape design experience at Fira, Jeremy has been a champion of designing spaces that improve people’s mental and physical wellbeing
He has developed an expertise in healthcare and community projects, working closely with a diverse range of people and has successfully delivered several award-winning schemes across the UK. During his varied career he has honed his skills delivering healing landscapes to provide therapeutic environments in a variety of healthcare; mental health, oncology and end-of-life facilities. This background has enabled him to use these design principles to influence all projects across the studio for the benefit of all.
Communication and stakeholder engagement is a cornerstone of his work, enabling him to understand people’s specific requirements and bring them to life in his designs. Jeremy wrote a comprehensive landscape design guide for Macmillan Cancer Environments and as spoken on the value of contact with the natural environment at The Design in Mental Health Conference. He has also been a contributor to the Architects for Health forum.
